PVBLIC Featured in Interactive Webzine 'SHK'.

We are so proud to be featured in SHK (Seen / Heard / Known) Magazine. If you have not yet seen this digital mag, prepare for your mind to be abuzz! You can see the whole issue online, but it's the iPad experience that really stuns. It's like a traditional magazine but super-interactive with beautiful, artsy, transparent layers, clickable music clips from upcoming artists and travel tidbits all shown in this exciting two-way transfer of information. Really incredible and we're so happy to have a few of our men's pieces from various collections in there! See below for the screenshots.

From the mag's site:
SHK is a digital magazine based off the blog SeenHeadKnown.com, which is a contemporary fashion, music and lifestyle website created in New York City. The mag is a quarterly publication inspired by the celebration of today’s ability to merge traditional editorial aesthetics with the quickness of new media.

If you're not already on it, run to your iPad or iPhone and download the app now at this link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/shk-magazine/id623433878?mt=8

PVBLIC is a 'Smash'!

Last night's episode of NBC's Smash entitled "The Fringe" featured not one but two PVBLIC shirts from our Fall '12 "Ukraine Edition"! Amazing!

PVBLIC's "Carpathian" crew neck t-shirt.
The funniest part is that PVBLIC is being worn by the character of "Kyle" (who plays a writer of the show-within-the-show) and he starts the scene by saying "Oh hey someone tweeted about us". See they need press too! So this blog post right here is life imitating art, imitating life.

Thanks, Smash

These and other PVBLIC t-shirts can be found at Alter in Brooklyn.

"Ukraine Edition" Has Hit Stores!

We finally shipped the first delivery of Fall '12 "Ukraine Edition", our favorite and proudest collection to date. The full collection can be found on our website here.

During the design phase of "Ukraine" and all the heavy duty research we put into this one, a lot of Gogol Bordello was playing at the PVBLIC studio....particularly their version of the Ukrainian Gypsy folk song "Lela Pala Tute". Check out the boys from Gogol, Eugene & Sergey, mashing up "Lela" with Madonna's classic "La Isla Bonita" at the Live Earth festival from a few years back. Talk about a culture smash! Love this, especially the last couple of minutes. Uhmazing.

Tools of the Trade...

Our Fall '12 selling season is over and "Ukraine Edition" is on it's way to reality. It will grace store shelves with it's presence in just a few months! We showed "Ukraine Edition" at several trade shows this season: PROJECT in Las Vegas (exhausting) and Coterie here in NYC (so fab). Check out some of the photos of those shows, below:

We were pimping it so hard, that there is a photo of us reading Coterie's daily magazine, The Daily IN The Daily. Shameless.
Look out for PVBLIC's "Ukraine Edition" in stores mid-July.

Fall '12 "Ukraine Edition" Photo Shoot Preview.

Last week we had the enormous pleasure of shooting our upcoming Fall/Winter '12 collection "Ukraine Edition" at Klavierhaus in NYC with some amazing talent and we are OBSESSED with the results! Photographer David Paul Larson graced us with his presence along with stunning runway model Valery Ka from MARILYN and male model Nikolai Besedin from RED/CITIZEN agency. They couldn't have been more perfect for this collection. "Ukraine Edition" is really close to our hearts and we truly feel it's our strongest to date, so we are extra grateful the stars aligned the way they did for us for this shoot...even if it it did fall on the only day it snowed in NYC all season so far!

Special thanks must also be made to Eddie Adams for producing the project, Michael, Marcell Rocha and Amanda Pabon for doing hair and make-up and everyone at Klavierhaus. Much love to you all.

This campaign will be used for our lookbooks, press and signage at our upcoming trade shows. Here's a little preview...we're still blown away!:
